AC/DC to play their first Scottish date in ten years

AC/DC to play their first Scottish date in ten years

Legendary multi-million-selling band AC/DC have announced that they will be returning to Europe this summer to continue their critically acclaimed ‘Power Up’ tour, which will end at Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh on Thursday 21st August 2025 – their first Scottish concert in ten years!

As well as being AC/DC’s first show in Scotland since 2015, this very special concert will be a Scottish homecoming for lead guitarist Angus Young and rhythm guitarist Stevie Young, who were both born in Scotland.

Formed in Sydney, Australia in 1973, AC/DC are one of the most influential rock bands in history, with over 200 million albums sold worldwide. In 2003, AC/DC were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and the band continue to sell out stadiums around the world and sell millions of albums every single year.

The ‘Power Up’ tour, named after their latest studio album which reached number 1 in 21 countries, has seen the band visit Europe last year to rapturous fans and critical acclaim. AC/DC will play 12 dates across 10 countries in Europe this summer, including their first Scottish concert in a decade in Edinburgh which will be their only show in the UK.

The European summer 2025 ‘Power Up’ tour will feature support from The Pretty Reckless at all dates.

Tickets go on sale from 10am on Friday 7th February. Tickets for Edinburgh will be available here
