June 2019 saw her drop FIRE ON MARZZ, a debut EP featuring hits 'Soaked', 'Glitter', 'Evil Spider' all recorded at Golden Age studio in her hometown of Auckland with producer Josh Fountain of LEISURE.
A second EP, STELLA & STEVE, saw BENEE introduce her first feature guests as Gus Dapperton jumped on the irrepressible bop 'Supalonely' and jack berry on 'Drifting'. It also included her Halloween treat 'Monsta' and Triple J Australia chart topper 'Find An Island'.
BENEE’s sold out shows from London and New York to all across Australia and NZ. She's played Spilt Milk and Laneway festivals and toured the US with Conan Gray.
She claimed four NZ Aotearoa Music Awards in 2019 and another three in 2020, twice taking home prizes for Best Single and Best Pop Artist. Josh Fountain also collected the Producer of the Year award in 2019 and 2020.
Supalonely has gone on to become one of the most popular songs of 2020, reaching Platinum in the USA, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Mexico and many more countries. She released her album Hey u x in late 2020 which featured collaborations with Grimes, Lily Allen, Mallrat, Flo Milli, Muroki, Bakar and Kenny Beats
