Growing up in and around South London attending school in Brixton, vocalist Deno (who’s parents are originally from Eritrea), found himself being an average teenager, to being the voice of big hits including “Advice” with the late Cadet and “London”.
Growing up in and around South London attending school in Brixton, vocalist Deno (who’s parents are originally from Eritrea), found himself being an average teenager, to being the voice of big hits including “Advice” with the late Cadet and “London”.
It all began when his friends asked him to sing for their Snapchat to being recognised by Stormzy helping work on his infamous debut album Gang Signs & Prayer to becoming an overnight sensation, setting him on a path to perhaps being the youngest and most explosive singer of his generation in the UK. He released his debut EP Eye 2 Eye on October 25th 2019.
Inspired by the sounds of Michael Jackson, Chris Brown, The Weeknd and Akon; Deno’s sound ought not to be limited to one style. He says his music contains hints of R&B, Afro Wave, Trap, Soul and Pop.
