Ft. Terra Kin, David Luximon, Steph Woods, Mike McKenzie

Terra Kin
A self-described "weird little creature" from Glasgow, Terra Kin blends jazz, lo-fi beats, ambient, and folk into a sound that defies genre labels. With a voice that’s as soft as it is soulful, Terra Kin has captivated audiences across the country. Terra Kin was well-deservedly crowned BBC Introducing Scottish Act of the Year in 2023.

David Luximon
Hailing from Edinburgh, David Luximon is a multi-instrumentalist and producer with a rich musical history. Formerly known as Vive La Rose, David has evolved from his acoustic roots to create music that resonates deeply, blending introspective lyrics with lush, intricate arrangements. His latest album, Duty of Care, is a heartfelt exploration of life’s lessons, and we can’t wait to hear him bring these songs to life on stage.

Steph Woods
Sydney-born Steph Woods has made a name for herself with her melancholic and mesmerising brand of Indie Folk. Influenced by artists like Mazzy Star and Savannah Conley, Steph’s music is both vulnerable and infectious. Her debut single, ‘Ballerina’, produced by Tim McArtney, captures the pain of unrequited love with a rawness that’s impossible to ignore.

Mike McKenzie
Edinburgh’s Mike McKenzie is a songwriter with a gift for crafting honest, heartfelt lyrics that hit you right in the chest. After winning BBC Radio Scotland’s Singer/Songwriter of the Year in 2019, Mike has continued to evolve, drawing comparisons to the likes of Luke Sital-Singh and David Gray. His live performances are known for their emotional depth, and his songs have found a home on BBC Radio 2.

We’re thrilled to welcome these wonderful artists to the Glasgow Songwriter Round, where they'll be sharing their latest work, giving us a glimpse into his upcoming solo work, and talking all things songwriting.

Come along, grab a drink, and enjoy.

Free entry. Doors at 7pm.
