His debut EP ‘SOCIALIZING,’ a stunning 6 track collection containing anthemic pop songs with deeply relatable lyrics, features the brilliantly uplifting track 'POLAROID’ which was BBC Introducing Track of the Week and the deeply lyrical track ‘BLEAK,’ which was picked as BBC Radio 1’s Jack Saunders ‘Tune Of The Week’ ["Michael Aldag is as real as they get. His words, at the moment, are my bible. In a world full of deception, Michael Aldag stands tall" - Jack Saunders].

His music has also been supported by the likes of BBC Radio 1 Greg James ["Here's an artist that I really should have been playing much sooner, and I don’t really have an excuse for this because I really like him and I've followed him on TikTok for probably 18 months or so. Sounding really good on the breakfast show...I really like his lyrics as well" and Dean Jackson from BBC Sounds [“Oh I love him, such a good performer and such a good lyricist too, in fact it’s the whole package”].

Michael has featured on the cover of Notion Magazine and landed features on Line of Best Fit, CLASH and The Sunday Times, who featured Michael in the prestigious ‘Breaking Artist’ section [“pay close attention to the lyrics, which mix the bruised and the brutal, with shattering results”].

Michael prides himself as an artist who speaks heavily to the Gen Z audience, he says “My music’s for anybody who feels slightly-to-constantly overwhelmed and unsure of who they are, flailing around in this massive ridiculous world.” His music is sometimes conveyed within his online personality on the world’s largest social media platform TikTok, where he currently has over 830k followers and counting.“I’m definitely not aTikToker or an influencer” Michael says, “It’s a useful platform and my songs have got some humour in them as well so the two things are not worlds apart.”‘

This year has already seen Michael play his second sold out UK headline tour, perform at BBC Radio 1 Big Weekend and supported artists such as Caity Baser, Dean Lewis, George Ezra and Bastille. He is set to embark on his third headline tour later in the year and release his debut album early 2024.
