OneDa…. Rapper, Poet, Beat Producer, Educator & Pussy Power Prophet!
OneDa is doing it like no one else right now, blending her old school and new school vibes consistently throughout all of her outputs and live shows. OneDa’s constant evolution has seen her support artists like Kneecap and Baxter Dury and performed at major festivals including Glastonbury, Boomtown, We Out Here, The Great Escape and BBC 6 Music Festival. Her dynamic live shows, which feature regular collaborators Miss Stylie and Superlative, are a testament to her powerful stage presence. She also headlined with Angélique Kidjo at the launch of Aviva Studios in Manchester, further showcasing her talents.
An artist who refuses to be boxed in, OneDa’s music speaks for itself. Always beginning with her own intrepid demeanour and dexterous wordplay, her tracks incorporate elements from the hip-hop and drum and bass scenes of her home city of Manchester before adding an eclectic mix of afro-trap and tinges of afrobeats that lean into her Nigerian heritage.
This spirit is heard from the very first note of her recently released debut album ‘Formula OneDa’ out now via Heavenly Recordings. Building on the success of singles like Major Pay, Set It Off, Superwoman, and The Western Way, this 12-track LP sees OneDa collaborating with artists such as Renee Stormz, PRIDO, Princethekid, Ace Clvrk, Superlative, and Miss Stylie. Spanning hip-hop, drum and bass, reggae, and electronic, Formula OneDa highlights her versatility and bold artistic vision.
