RainTown was started as a small uni project by four members Robert Lithgow, Jamie McAtee, BJ Max-Who and Hazel Mclean. The four quickly came together with ideas and wasted no time at all getting demos down from fun indie pop inspired tunes to James Brown funk tracks. With the help of manager Megan Mitchell the team quickly found themselves properly set in the studios based in Ayr moving forwards in a fast motion as it seemed each day someone had a new brighter and better idea than their last to create or bring a track together
