Event Info

New single "Don't Wanna Love Again" is another song which showcases her stunning range. Over the course of the past year SILVI has headlined the iconic King Tuts in Glasgow and sold out Sneaky Pete's in Edinburgh, starred in a BBC iPlayer documentary about the grassroots music scene in West Lothian and had her incredible single "Burning" crowned ‘Song Of The Year’ at the Weekender Awards, as well as played throughout ZARA stores across the world and featured on BBC One's Football Focus.  A fan of rock and evocative, cinematic music, SILVI's music could easily be filed alongside Lana Del Rey's epic approach to songwriting but also the brooding style of Two Feet or Bishop Briggs. 2023 is set to be a a big year for SILVI. She is one of 4 Scottish artists showcasing as part of Wide Day’s talent development programme supported by Creative Scotland and PRS Foundation, will be performing at various Scottish venues throughout 2023 and is on the bill for this year's Stockton Calling festival alongside artists like Divorce and Blondes. Words by Andy Hannah.
